Jammu: Twenty-six people were caught smoking in public places in the city and a fine of over Rs 2,000 realised from them, officials said on Tuesday.
A special drive launched by a team of Food and Drug Inspectors found 26 people smoking cigarettes in public places in violation of the law, they said.
A collective fine of Rs 2,430 was realised from them, the officials said.
